The Great Southern returns for its second season from January 2021, journeying between Adelaide and Brisbane showcasing spectacular scenery and an unrivalled experience both on and off the train. With a new route travelling through South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland, the Great Southern is a truly unforgettable journey just waiting to be discovered.
The two night, three day journey from Adelaide to Brisbane gives you the opportunity to step off the train to experience the spectacular Grampians National Park, the nation’s capital Canberra, and the stunning northern New South Wales coast.
The three night, four day southbound journey from Brisbane to Adelaide will include an incredible beachside dining experience in northern NSW, an immersive day in the Hunter Valley and Newcastle region and will also provide the opportunity to take in Victoria’s iconic Twelve Apostles.
