08 Nov MOST BEAUTIFUL FRENCH VILLAGES
So you may have visited France once or twice… but should you go back? France has such a variety of landscape, climate, architecture, food, wine that it is difficult to say you know what France is all about unless you’ve been to all 4 corners of the “Metropole”.
Paris and the other larger cities in France provide plenty of historical sites and restaurants but come with a lot of walking, a fast-paced environment where stress, cars and pollution arguably are part of the experience. So my question to you is have you tried the quieter, slower-paced provincial France? I am not talking about the backcountry of Nice or Cannes, I am thinking about the villages of Provence, Dordogne and the less visited regions of France such as the Coast of Pink Granit in Britanny, the Arcachon basin near Bordeaux or the riverside villages of the Ardeche regions.
If that sounds intriguing, let us put together an itinerary that will give you a new take on France. In the meantime, I thought I would share with you some research material I recently came across with great photos of some of the most beautiful French villages. Click here for Inspiration.
